24k jewelry has a vibrant and deep gold color, it's soft and a pleasure to wear. But it needs a little more care from the wearer, precisely because of its softness. It's best to take it off during exercise, avoid cleaning with chemicals, and put on your perfume before you put on your jewelry. As it is so soft, it is also easier to scratch and damage.

I personally love jewelry to "live," and there is nothing wrong with showing some signs of normal wear and tear, but you have to realize that 22k and especially 24k is softer than alloyed gold.

Perhaps inspired by getting married this spring, Gina has developed a small but delightful wedding ring collection.

Personally, I love the idea of one kind of precious metal for the ring that symbolizes our bond to our partner. The purer, the better. No stones, simple, clean, matching with everything. Perhaps it has to do with marriage (or a long-term relationship) being an incredible bond between two people. How does that work? When you want to get money for your jewelry, the price you receive depends on many different factors. But one area where Auvere clearly wins is purity. 18k or 14k gold means that 750/1000 or even just 585/1000 is pure gold. Simply put: for a piece weighing 10 grams, you'll get the price of 10 grams of gold for an Auvere piece in 24k*. If a jewel is 14k, it means that 585/1000 is actually gold, so just 5.85 grams of gold in that piece. Just a little over half the weight is actually gold. Nothing wrong with that, but this comparison makes it rather clear how intelligently this jewelry collection is actually constructed.
